KIRABO ANTHONY, IN BRIEF


Kirabo Anthony is the first born of three and was born on 23rd December 2002 in Magere village, Wakiso district to Nansera Solome, a low income earner.

 He grew up in the same village with his grand mother and attended Buyinja Primary school Kasangati between 2007 and 2015; he later joined Our Lady of Good Counsel Secondary School Gayaza for highier education between 2016 and 2018 and St. Padre Pio Secondary School Busunju, where he attained his UCE in 2019 and UACE in 2022.

 

 He participated more in leadership, debates, speech and poetry writing while in school hence attaining a certificate from the 2016 Holy Cross Competitions while in senior one due to his poem, “ Who is my Brother.....”, and more of leadership.

His writing sparked off in 2018 with his article, “Uganda has wonders.”

And he went on with speech and poetry writing till today.

 

 He has written poems like The Pearl, Death knows no race, My Love..., Thoughts..., and more featuring in The Pearl Anthology, and more of his poetry shall feature in his forthcoming anthology, among the expected poems include Death’s Sweetness, Advice to Girl humanity (sonnet 1), Sorry I will be late, Ganda dance, I loved a poet, What is death like? A ride in Kampala, New King and more of his pieces.

 

He still lives in Magere where he is currently working on his anthology, “Series of Life.” soon to be published.

 

 He is student, poet, short storyteller, article and quotes writer as well as a counselor.
